Joppolo - nature and authenticity

The southern Italian municipality of Joppolo is located in the province of Vibo Valentia/Calabria, on the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The municipality includes the main town of Joppolo and Marina di Joppolo at the seaside.

The beach at your doorstep - holiday homes at Joppolo

The accommodations we arrange for at Joppolo are not far from the long, stony beach of Joppolo. 

There's a long seaside promenade you can take leisurely walks along, for example in the evening hours, at sunset, when the offshore Aeolian Islands are bathed in reddish light and you see smoke rising from volcanic Stromboli.

If you are a jogger, you will find the promenade to be perfect for your run, after which you can cool off in the seemingly transparent waters of the sea. 

Our tips for Joppolo

Market day at Joppolo on Thursdays: Buy fresh, local products and and produce at the market for the meals you might want to prepare yourself at the holiday accommodation you are staying at. 

Visit Tropea: Joppolo is not too far (ca. 22 km) from Tropea, it takes you about 30 min. by car to get to the small seaside town in fantastic location on a plateau. Take your time when strolling through the town, linger at one of the bars or cafés and simply enjoy the atmosphere, stop at one of the restaurants and enjoy typically Calabrian cuisine.
